Text Box: Alisa Acosta has been a business consultant in the Las Vegas Valley since 1998 developing Business Plans and Private Placement Memorandums to help companies start or expand their business by attracting investment capital, a bank or a Small Business Administration loan. She has also worked as an Efficiency Expert, implementing business operational changes to decrease costs, leveraging technology to improve business processes, improve the profit margin, increase employee efficiency and eliminate operation redundancies. Ms. Acosta works as the Lead Project Manager on all contracts. In addition to her consulting business, Ms. Acosta has Instructed at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, College of Business, Department of Information Systems from 1999-2006. As an Instructor, she taught Microsoft Office Suite software: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint and a Management Information Systems course. As a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Nevada Reno (Fall 2006), Ms. Acosta has taught IT Project Management and Management Information Systems courses. Ms. Acosta has also owned and managed, Alisa Acosta Resort Rentals in Big Bear Lake California for 13 years (1990-2003) which focused on vacation and permanent cabin rentals. Prior to 1990, Alisa worked for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach California and St. Louis Missouri as a Systems Analyst. Her expertise spans 25 years with experience in technology, customer service, process and procedures, staff management, leadership and education.
